Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy
1. Zero Tolerance Statement
Nokterna has a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content, behavior, or attempt to facilitate CSAE is strictly prohibited across all Nokterna services.
This policy applies to all user-generated content, interactions, and communications, including SMS messaging and any other messaging or communication features provided by Nokterna.
We comply with all applicable laws and safety requirements designed to protect minors from exploitation and abuse.
2. Age Restriction
Nokterna is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit minors to use the platform.
Any account found or reasonably suspected to belong to a minor may be suspended or removed immediately.
3. Definition of Prohibited Conduct and Content
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Any sexual content involving a minor or any person depicted as a minor
- Any content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or harms minors
- Creation, possession, distribution, or solicitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Grooming behavior, including attempts to gain trust or build relationships with a minor for sexual purposes
- Sexualized communication with minors, including attempts to solicit sexual content or meetings
- Any facilitation, coordination, or promotion of CSAE-related activity
4. Grooming Prohibited
Grooming includes any attempt to manipulate, influence, or build trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation. This includes gradual escalation of communication, secrecy tactics, coercion, or requests for explicit material or contact.
All grooming behavior is strictly prohibited and treated as a serious violation.
5. Enforcement and Account Actions
We actively monitor for violations of this policy. If a violation is suspected or confirmed, Nokterna may take immediate action, including:
- Immediate suspension or permanent termination of accounts without prior notice
- Removal of content or messages
- Restriction of access to Nokterna services
- Preservation of relevant data for investigation
6. Reporting and Safety Concerns
If you encounter any content or behavior that may involve CSAE, you must report it immediately.

If there is immediate danger, contact local law enforcement.
Reports are reviewed promptly and treated with high priority.
7. Mandatory Reporting to Authorities
Where required by law, Nokterna reports suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and related activity to appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent child protection organizations in relevant jurisdictions.
We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and lawful requests.
8. Data Preservation and Cooperation
We may preserve and disclose relevant account data, content, or communications when required to comply with legal obligations or investigations involving CSAE.

9. Enforcement Without Notice
Violations of this policy may result in immediate action, including suspension or termination of access, without prior warning.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. Continued use of Nokterna constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
